Shamai is sired by bay-brown Top Five USA Futurity Champion, Australian Reserve Champion stallion and world-class sire, Anaza Bay Shahh impUSA (Shaikh Al Badi [Morafic x Bint Maisa El Sghira] x Bint Deenaa [Ansata Ibn Halima x Deenaa]).
Shamai is out of the gorgeous liver chestnut National, East Coast and Australian National Champion filly, Simeon Shiraz (Asfour [Malik x Hanan] x Simeon Shuala [Simeon Shai x Ramses Tinah]). One of our all-time favourite Asfour daughters!
Shamai captivated us with his soundness and clear performance potential, his amazing movement, his spunky, people-loving nature and his awesome, air-tight pedigree.
He has an awesome likeness to his great grandsire, the Scottsdale, USA, Canadian and World Champion stallion of 1992, Simeon Shai!
He is right at home at Zadahan and will be our investment for the future. We plan to campaign him in performance and to start a Straight Egyptian breeding programme to run alongside our treasured multi-culturals! We hope to put him over our beloved Arliah, Gaize and daughters of Khalil in the future. We do plan to stand Shamai at public stud.
